Volkswagen has announced that their new premium mid-size offering, the Arteon, will be showcased to the public for the first time at the Geneva International Motor Show. The German manufacturer says the new model, which is positioned above the Passat, will include features normally reserved for luxury automobiles.
The Arteon will supposedly be a sporty fastback that provides substantial head and legroom at all seats. This claim alone is enough to peak interest as a successful combination of practicality, performance and sleek design is rare, to say the least.
One of the most intriguing things about VW’s new GT model is that it will include an entirely new front end, in which we’ll see the LED headlights seamlessly unite with the radiator grille and the bonnet. It’s hard to deny that bold new design features like this are impressive, but will they be a hit with consumers? Only time will tell.
